Hartley People are recruiting for an experienced Lean Specialist to join their team at an exciting growth phase The ideal candidate will have experience in Pharma/Manufacturing industry The Person: Manage CI plans targeted to embed the CI culture and Lean skillsets at all tiers of the organization. Investigate objectives vs strategy  Continuously improve the site’s performance in Quality, Safety, Service, Cost and Innovation towards the goal of Zero accidents, Zero defects and Zero waste. Align Lean  improvements to site strategy and the delivery of business benefit. Lead site projects and programs Drive effective site engagement and people change management planning with site managers and teams Transfer expertise and capability in CI culture and Lean standards through training, mentoring in best practices, practical application and coaching their application at the gemba. Track and confirm progress of the site’s CI goals and targets as well as alignment of CI goals to strategy deployment targets and site improvement plans. Coach site leaders and individual contributors to develop and sustain continuous improvement mindsets and behaviours. Provide technical expertise and advice on the Lean  system and other CI/Lean   tools to the Site based on an in depth understanding of Lean. Communicate and propagate best practice within the site and across the network. The Role: Bachelor’s degree Minimum 5 years of manufacturing environment experience, covering a broad range of activities and operations (e.g. Production, Engineering, Quality Assurance/Logistics / Safety). Demonstrated expertise in use of Lean  /Sigma to deliver improvement initiatives and/or culture change year on year resulting in both financial and non-financial benefit, and behavioural change People change management concepts and practice Training Skills Coaching Skills Project planning and execution management Relationship management Black Belt / Master Black Belt certification Hartley People Recruitment work to the highest ethical standards within our industry and we value the trust that you place in us when you send your CV.
