Job description Our client are seeking Laboratory Assistants to join their team in Naas, Co.
Kildare on a minimum 12-week contract initially - this could potentially be extended depending on business needs.
Job description: Your responsibilities will include: BVD sample reception and sample preparation Comply with the requirement of all internal procedures and training Complete all day to day activities as allocated by the laboratory manager/supervisor Maintain the paperwork to high standard The successful candidates will be able to: Work in a fast-paced environment Demonstrate ability to pay attention to detail Ability to demonstrate working as a team member as well as individually.
Meet set targets & deadlines Have basic computer skills Have excellent oral and written English skills Initially based on a 4 day week - Tuesday to Friday.
However, when sample numbers increase, Monday and Saturday work will be required.
Approximately 4 Saturdays required, depending on sample numbers (double pay for Saturday work) Start time 7.45 am - Working hours may vary daily depending on sample numbers - there is no set finish time.
Start date Jan/Feb 2025 Rate of pay €13.65 per hour.
