Job Description Are you a  DON  who is seeking to work in a leading and outstanding Nursing Care Home in the Kildare area?   Have you got more than  Three years’ experience plus Qualification in Management? Are you a leader and passionate about the position? You will receive full support from the Operations team to provide top care to the service users.   If you’re looking to  step up to be a DON or looking for a change in your workplace,  then this is the job role for you. Maintain accurate resident records and ensure that all documentation is up to date. Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in developing their skills and knowledge. Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, medical staff, patients, families, and other healthcare providers. Direct, oversee and evaluate all nursing staff.  Set objectives and goals for the nursing department. Develop and enforce policies aiming for legal compliance and high-quality standards. Control budgets and monitor expenditures. Requirements Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Senior Nursing Management position in Care of the elderly (within the last 6 years). Post-registration management qualification (QQI Level 6 minimum) Currently registered with NMBI. Excellent management and communication skills.
