The Role: As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing and providing therapeutic interventions to paediatric patients.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care that supports children's development and well-being.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to paediatric patients.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans.
Provide expertise in the area of specialist seating where applicable.
Monitor progress and outcomes, adjusting therapeutic approaches as needed.
Contribute to team development and provide mentorship to junior staff where required.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must: Hold a recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy and be registered with CORU.
Have a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience, including at least 1 year working with paediatric populations (acute or community settings considered).
Demonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Knowledge in the area of specialist seating is highly desirable.
