About Your New Job As a Bus Mechanic, your job will be conducting reactive and planned maintenance on the company vehicle fleet.

Inspecting vehicles to identify any faults, either electrical, mechanical or hydraulic.

Using diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot any vehicle faults.

Meeting maintenance plans to ensure longevity and functionality of the company vehicle fleet.

Replacing or repairing damaged/malfunctioning components and parts.

Conducting work in line with safety standards and specifications.

What Skills You Need For this Bus Mechanic job you will have previous experience in a similar position and a recognised QQI Level 6 motor mechanic qualification.

You will also ideally have experience working on buses, HGVs, or similar.
