Lead Data Engineer Location: Dublin Salary: € Hybrid Reperio are working with a major software company who are looking to build out their Data team in Ireland.

As part of these plans, they are seeking a Lead data Engineer to take charge of designing and building scalable, high-performance data platforms that enable advanced analytics and business intelligence.

You will lead a team of data engineers, collaborating closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions that drive decision-making across the organization.

This role will also involve playing a hands-on role in designing and implementing data warehouses, lakes and ETL processes.

Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

7+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2 years in a senior role.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

Hands-on experience with big data tools like Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.

Strong knowledge of database systems (SQL and No SQL), data modelling, and schema design.

Expertise in Azure cloud platforms and cloud-native data services.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git.

Nice to have: Experience with machine learning pipelines and AI-driven data solutions.
