Java DeveloperAs a Java Developer, reporting to the delivery lead, you will be part of a team that works on SmartPath™, more specifically our Smart Path Mobile Server application development team specifically dealing with biometrics. SITA Smart Path Mobile adds new levels of convenience for today’s mobile-first passengers. Freeing travelers from having to enroll their biometrics at agent desks or kiosks, Smart Path Mobile supports a stress-free, contactless interactive environment. The solution includes a highly secured, scalable cloud infrastructure allowing connectivity from passenger mobile devices globally. Its modern, modular design is created with an eye on the future. The design of the system streamlines integration of additional biometric and document validation technologies, including bespoke and/or per-country integration with external verification systems.At airports across the world, SITA provides self-service and agent-assisted passenger processing solutions at every step of the journey from check-in to boarding. With self-service devices to help airports facilitate the need for easy flow management, SmartPath™, with just a quick scan of the face, allows passengers to easily validate their identity along the entire passenger journey without having to pull out their passports or boarding passes.Biometrics has fast become a leading capability for airport self-service passenger processing opportunities around the world. Are you ready to join us?What you will do • Writing and delivering code for features and modules, debugs existing code and modules.
