Have you designed electrical systems where failure isn’t an option?
Data centres, pharma, or other mission‑critical environments.
If yes, this is worth a look.
We’re hiring an Electrical Engineer to lead design on hyperscale data centre projects, with scope for engineers coming from other high‑spec, regulated environments where resilience, uptime and compliance are critical.
Location: Limerick or Dublin
Travel: Ireland + international projects
What you’ll be doing
Leading electrical design across data centre and mission‑critical projects
Designing systems where resilience (N+1, 2 N), uptime and reliability are essential
Working closely with clients, contractors and vendors on complex builds
Delivering power, control, ICT and life safety systems
Ensuring compliance with EN/IEC, ETCI / BS7671 and industry standards
This role is a strong fit if you have:
Experience in data centre OR mission‑critical environments (e.g. pharma, clean rooms, high‑spec industrial)
Designed systems where failure has real operational or safety impact
Worked on projects with strict compliance, validation or uptime requirements
Been involved in real design delivery, not just support work
You’ll likely have:
5+ years electrical design experience
Experience in data centres, pharma, or similar high‑spec environments
Exposure to redundancy, resilience or critical systems design
Ability to lead or take ownership of design packages
Why this role stands out
You’ll be working on projects where:
performance and reliability are non‑negotiable
design decisions directly impact operations
and you’re trusted to lead, not just contribute
