FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Lead Fitter on behalf of a leading stone manufacturing business. This is a full-time permanent role. Our client specialises in the installation of Quartz, Porcelein, Marble and Granite worktops across domestic and commercial projects throughout the West of Ireland. The Lead Fitter will be responsible for managing projects on site from start to finish as well. You will take the leadership role on site and manage a small crew. If you have worked in a Stone / Carpentry / Kitchen fitter role previously we would be interested in hearing from you This role would suit someone living in the East Galway / Ballinasloe area Duties Manage and lead the installation of quartz, granite, marble and porcelain stone worktops. Oversee the safe loading, unloading and handling of stone materials Preparing kitchen units prior to installation Assisting with joints, mitres, sink and hob cut-outs Silicone sealing and finishing to a high standard Maintaining a clean and professional work environment Adhering strictly to health & safety procedures Candidate profile The ability to lead and manage a small crew on site Experience in reading 3 D Drawings and ability to make quick and effective decisions Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling Full, clean driving licence (preferred) Safe Pass (preferred) Good spoken and written English Strong attention to detail Motivated and eager to progress to Lead Fitter level In return Full-time, permanent position Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm Overtime available during busy periods Competitive pay based on experience Structured opportunity to progress to Lead Fitter To apply Please email your CV through the attached link Phone calls to John Miller in confidence on Skills: Fitter Construction Stone
