Lead Software Engineer My client, a leading consultancy, is seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to join a major insurance client engagement in Dublin. This is a senior leadership role focused on delivering modern cloud-native solutions, managing multiple workstreams, and driving technical excellence across a large-scale insurance platform. Responsibilities: Lead software engineering teams across multiple concurrent projects Deliver scalable cloud-native solutions within an AWS Serverless environment Provide hands-on development support across Node.js and Java Spring Boot Oversee architecture, code quality, CI/CD, and engineering best practice Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver strategic initiatives Support the ongoing development of insurance platforms and core systems Drive efficiency through the use of AI-led engineering tools where appropriate Key Skills: 5+ years' experience with AWS Serverless technologies including Lambda, API Gateway, Dynamo DB, Aurora Postgre SQL, and SQS Strong hands-on development background with Node.js and Java Spring Boot Proven experience leading teams across multiple delivery workstreams Previous experience within insurance environments is highly desirable Knowledge of policy administration, underwriting, bookings, endorsements, or related insurance systems Experience with Git Hub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar AI tools is advantageous Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Applicants must be eligible to work full-time in the Republic of Ireland without restriction Excited about this opportunity?
