About Your New Job As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring production equipment operates efficiently and downtime is kept to a minimum. You will work closely with production teams and take responsibility for both preventative and reactive maintenance activities. You will: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on food processing and packaging equipment. Respond quickly to machinery breakdowns and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues. Support production teams with line start-ups, equipment changeovers, and technical problem-solving. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with food safety, hygiene, quality, and health & safety procedures. Complete maintenance records, inspections, and work orders accurately. Contribute to continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades. What Skills You Need Mechanical or electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment. Previous food manufacturing experience would be beneficial. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability. Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
