The Operations Management Accountant plays a vital role in driving financial performance and operational efficiency within the factory.
This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, providing insightful analysis, and supporting strategic initiatives that enhance profitability and productivity.
Responsibilities: Prepare regular KPI reports and balanced scorecard dashboards for management, highlighting trends, deviations, and areas for improvement.
Design and implement a balanced scorecard framework that incorporates financial, customer, internal process, and learning & growth perspectives to provide a comprehensive view of factory performance.
Gather and analyse relevant data from various sources.
Collaborate with operations and management teams to develop action plans to address underperforming KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
Provide financial analysis and support for strategic capital projects, including budgeting, cost tracking, and post-implementation reviews.
Develop custom reports and dashboards within the MES to track financial performance and KPIs.
Identify and implement improvements to financial processes related to MES data collection and reporting Experience Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) are a plus.
6+ years of experience in cost accounting, management accounting, or factory accounting.
Experience with MES implementations and balanced scorecards.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Expeirence in Excel and accounting Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience with strategic project support and financial analysis.
