Our clients a leading company in the manufacturing sector now have an opening for a HR/Payroll person to join their team based at their onsite facility in Co.
Longford. This is a full-time permanent position, Monday to Friday 8.30am 5pm office-based role.
Roles and Responsibilities: HR: New Employees Induction, Employee Contracts, Handbook, Safety Statement, employee forms.
Dealing with employee issues and conflicts that occur day to day and try bringing them to a resolution.
Responsible for checking attendance, hours, sick time & annual leave etc.
Investigation & Disciplinary processes where necessary Maintaining HR System and process Recruitment & Hiring Responsible for the recruitment process.
Preparing the Job Descriptions, screening and shortlisting candidates, interview process, compiling references, preparing the offer of employment to successful candidate.
Training and Development - Responsible for ensuring the Training Matrix is kept up to date using software Boxcore.
Organising training on a weekly basis where needed, e.g.
manual handling, safe pass, Slingers, etc.
Organising programmes for office staff for new skills to enhance productivity where needed.
Payroll & Accounts Weekly payroll for 55 employees Assisting accounts with month end General Administration duties Qualifications and Skills: HR Degree or CIPD Qualification Minimum 2 years of HR/Payroll Experience in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Responsive, proactive, solution-oriented and innovative with a passion for continuous improvement.
