We are hiring our future Systems Engineer - Product Lifecycle Management to join our Product Lifecycle Engineering team in our Dublin office. Let's talk about the team: Due to the introduction of a new product platform, ResMed has an opening for a diligent Systems Engineer who thrives within a highly regulated environment and enjoys the detail of compliance and documentation related activities. The Product Lifecycle Engineering team is the core Engineering team responsible for maintaining ResMed's existing product devices in the market. The team is made up of multi-disciplinary engineers, so there’s always someone knowledgeable to approach. We’re agile, collaborative, engaged and empowered to deliver amazing outcomes for our patients, and we’re looking for a Systems Engineer to join us! This is a unique growth opportunity where you will be exposed to the entire product development process, collaborating regularly with different departments and teams across the business. Let’s talk about responsibilities: In this role the Systems Engineer is responsible for maintaining the technical requirements of a Class2 medical product, manufactured in Asia. The main responsibilities are: Support the Systems Engineering deliverables and responsibilities within a product development cross-functional team Work with product stakeholders to decompose user needs, detail and maintain system requirements Create specifications and documentation for improvements and enhancements to existing or new products Support demonstration of product performance with full traceability of requirements to supporting evidence Develop and maintain the risk management activities within the QMS process (ISO13485) Ensure adherence to Systems Engineering principles and quality system processes Resolve technical issues within the Engineering disciplines The ability to participate in technical reviews of V&V plans, protocols and reports Adhere to ResMed Systems Engineering Processes and recommend updates to processes where appropriate Let’s talk about qualifications and experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering 5years demonstrated work experience in System Engineering, technical communication, requirements management, risk activities, and quality and compliance in a product development environment from a medical device or other highly regulated industry Experience working in a controlled manufacturing environment Achievement oriented self-starter who works well in a cross functional team. Flexibility and willingness to travel Let's talk about you: To excel as a Systems Engineer within our Product Lifecycle Engineering team you will need to be a highly analytical, systems thinker and an effective interdepartmental communicator with proven collaboration and project management skills.
