Overview Amazon Web Services’ Hardware Engineering team is looking for Manufacturing Engineers who are capable of operating in a fast paced, multi-platform international manufacturing and production environment. This on-site role focuses on scaling up production for NPIs, ensuring production and quality targets, and owning the manufacturing launch and resolution of process issues. Responsibilities Manage quality at the contract manufacturer (CM). Provide on-site support to new product launches as well as sustaining issues. Design in quality and manufacturability for new server and rack designs. Root cause customer-impacting issues and drive their resolution. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience with server platforms or high-tech hardware.5+ years working with manufacturing suppliers to improve incoming quality of systems.5+ years of experience reducing cycle time and improving labor efficiency. Preferred Qualifications Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to take products from concept to production. Experience with project management of technical projects.
