Armagh IMFORM3 are currently recruiting for a Senior Development Engineer to join their client’s team that recognised globally for manufacturing of electrical appliances. The ideal candidate will be reporting to the Program Manager and will be responsible for the support of the development of domestic projects within the Research & Development department. If this role is suited to you, then get in touch! Duties Include: Responsible for the mechanical design of the company products from concept stage through to drawings and support of manufacturing. Assist with the development of appropriate test facilities and to drive the development and introduction of company products. A thorough understanding of the commercial aspects of projects and the carry out estimate costs before the projects start. Meet the quality expectations that both the company set throughout all departments. To work with the engineering team with al projects/products to ensure that everything is communicated effectively. Carry out and take responsibility of all aspects of the projects. Skills & Experience Required: 3+ years’ experience working within the Manufacturing Environment. Degree or Equivalent in Mechanical/Manufacturing. Knowledge and understanding of Product Design and Development. Experience in sheet metal design, tool design, welding. Proficient in 3D CAD, Creo and other 3D systems. Strong attention to detail, time management and planning skills. Excellent Verbal and non-verbal communication.
