Exciting times and the formation of a brand new division inside the Ekco group of companies. This will be the 2nd hire in the newly formed team. Join Jack who has recently joined in driving the lead-generation activities of this new business unit and feeding into the funnel for consultancy sales headed up by longstanding director Mark. Ideally, you are a top-performing Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Business Development Representative (BDR) with experience in the technology industry. Maybe you feel you are being overlooked in your current role or just one of many vying for the next steps in your career. Well, Ekco can offer a clear path into a full quota-carrying sales role while contributing to the success of a growing consulting division. We are keen to progress the SDR/BDR into full Business Development Managers (external sales) in a period of 12-18 months. With a team of over 600 talented and supportive colleagues in offices across the UK, Benelux, and Ireland, we are committed to taking businesses to the cloud and back. In this role, you will work closely with your Business Development Manager to deliver excellent customer service and uncover sales opportunities for our technology clients. Using a consultative selling approach, you will generate a sales pipeline through telephone prospecting and email marketing, cultivating new business relationships and maintaining long-term ones. You will also work with a cross-functional team to identify and solve the needs of businesses using cloud-based technology. As an SDR/BDR at Ekco, you will bring your enthusiasm for sales, excellent product and brand knowledge, and ability to handle objections and negotiate to close deals. You will also stay up-to-date on industry trends and be a mentor and coach to junior members of the SDR team. To be successful in an application, you should have 1-2 years of demonstrated sales experience as an SDR/BDR, a strong understanding of cloud-based technologies (although we can provide training), and experience in telephone prospecting, relationship building, negotiating and nurturing deals. You should also be a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly develop rapport with high-level decision-makers to assess business needs. Why Ekco
