As part of our dynamic environment, you will have the opportunity to lead and innovate, ensuring our operations align with strategic goals. As the TCo E EMEA Governance lead in the Testing Center of Excellence based in Dublin, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our compliance and operational risk management for the EMEA region.
Your deep understanding of principles, practices, and theories in risk and control testing will be crucial in influencing and communicating across the TCo E and with other internal and external stakeholders.
You will leverage your advanced analytical thinking and your proficient business acumen to align testing efforts with strategic goals.
Your role will also involve making decisions that have a wide-ranging impact throughout the function.
Job responsibilities Oversee the management of outsourcing arrangements for EMEA legal entities, ensuring effective coordination and compliance.
Serve as the primary outsourcing contact within EMEA legal entities and overseeing the delivery of testing from global locations.
Manage regulatory interactions with European regulators on behalf of TCo E, including representing TCo E at regulator meetings in close collaboration with Compliance.
Represent TCo E at EMEA governance forums, where TCo E participation is required.
Escalate issues identified by TCo E that impact EMEA to relevant first and second line of defence (1 LOD and 2 LOD) stakeholders.
Contribute to TCo E improvements and transformation initiatives.
Manage the production of comprehensive metrics for EMEA legal entities, ensuring alignment with the TCo E global reporting model.
Support the EMEA lead in building proactive partnerships with 1 LOD and 2 LOD stakeholders regarding the EMEA test plan.
Collaborate with other line of business testing leads to ensure consistency and identify integration opportunities.
Manage stakeholder relationships and foster connectivity with regional Control management teams, promoting consistency and integration across the organization.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 7+ years of experience in executing and managing processes within a Testing, Compliance or Governance environment.
Demonstrates clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively to diverse audiences across all levels of the organization.
Capable of developing and delivering engaging presentations, tailoring content and style to suit the audience, and confidently presenting findings, recommendations, and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Proven ability to influence and persuade others, building consensus and driving alignment on key initiatives, even in the absence of direct authority.
Strong track record of building and maintaining productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, regulators, and cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and partnership.
Solid understanding of risk and control frameworks from either a first line of defense (1 LOD) or second line of defense (2 LOD) perspective, with experience applying these principles to support effective risk management and compliance.
