The role requires:3 days per week on Starters & Prep2 days per week on the Hot Side This position is ideal for a chef who enjoys varied responsibilities and is willing to assist with occasional lower-level tasks to support smooth service.
Key Responsibilities Work 3 days on Starters/Prep, delivering consistent quality and presentation.
Work 2 days on the Hot Side, confidently cooking meats, fish, and burgers to order.
Complete daily prep, mise en place, and general kitchen duties.
Support the kitchen team to maintain efficient service across sections.
Ensure full compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.
Contribute to a positive, team-focused kitchen culture.
Carry out occasional basic tasks when needed during busy periods.
Requirements Minimum 5 years' experience as a Chef in a busy restaurant.
Strong hot-side skills — confident cooking meats, burgers, and hot dishes.
Solid experience with starters, prep work, and fast-paced service.
Flexible, reliable, and comfortable working across two sections.
Calm and efficient under pressure.
Good command of English.
Minimum 2 recent work references required.
Police clearance certificate prior to employment.
Availability for a 1-week paid trial (€14.50/hour + free accommodation).
