OverviewWe are looking for a Paraplanner to join a well-established Financial Services company at an exciting time of growth. If successful, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Financial Planning  and ensuring that the firms clients receive the best financial planning and advisory services. You will work closely on conducting research, preparing financial reports, and assisting in the development of comprehensive financial plans.Key Responsibilities:Financial Research: Conduct in-depth research on investment products, financial markets, and taxation regulations relevant to the Irish financial landscape.Data Analysis: Analyse and evaluate clients’ financial situations, including income, expenses, investment portfolios, and goals.Financial Planning: Assist in the development of financial plans for clients, considering their objectives, risk tolerance, and time horizons.Report Preparation: Prepare detailed financial reports and statements, including cash flow projections, investment analysis, and retirement planning.Compliance: Ensure that all financial plans and recommendations comply with relevant industry regulations and standards, including those set by the Central Bank of Ireland.Client Communication: Collaborate with the Head of Financial Planning to present and explain financial plans to clients, addressing their questions and concerns.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, financial plans, and other relevant documentation.Technical Proficiency: Stay up-to-date with industry software and tools, and use them effectively to support financial planning activities.Continuous Learning: Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes to enhance your professional knowledge.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.Relevant industry qualifications, such as QFA (Qualified Financial Advisor), CFP (Certified Financial Planner), or similar designations.Previous experience as a paraplanner or in a similar role within the financial services sector.Strong knowledge of Irish financial regulations and tax laws.Proficiency in financial planning software and tools (CashCalc preferred).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently.This is an amazing opportunity to effectively shadow one of Irelands top Financial Planners, assisting with prep work and after sales work alongside a number of other duties. There is real scope for the successful candidate to move in to an Advisory role in the future if desired.
