Position Summary: We are looking to hire a talented, eager, and skilled Patient Liaison to join our team in a remote position based in Ireland. The Patient Liaison provides customer support to patients and clinics involved in pharmaceutical research trials. You would be responsible for ensuring customers (patients and clinics) of Scout Clinical receive excellent and consistent service. This includes reviewing travel and expense reimbursement requests, partnering with our vendors to fulfill services, and answering questions in a timely and courteous manner. Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: Serve as the point of contact to our Europe-based clients, patients, study sites, vendors and other related parties for each study. Scheduling travel requests for patients enrolled in clinical trials, including: Arrangements including flights, hotel, ground transportation, and special needs assistance, as well as provide any assistance for any issues that arise during travel. Interaction and management of vendors handling travel requests Review travel requests against study parameters and seeking approvals where necessary. Processing expense reimbursements to patients for approved expenses, including review against study parameters and seeking approvals where necessary of those expenses. Responsible for training study site personnel on how to use the online portal including: Creating/entering requests in the portal if applicable The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills, and knowledge: Fluent in German and English (spoken and written) preferred BS or BA degree or equivalent experience preferred Minimum 3 years of experience within the customer service or life sciences industry preferred. Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Multiple web browsers) Ability to modify, edit and create Excel spreadsheets Ability to modify, edit and create Word documents Ability to conduct effective online research Knowledge and understanding of foreign currency Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to handle large numbers of travel and expense requests in various stages of completion concurrently Experience working with multiple independent vendors to achieve results on a deadline Experience in the travel and/or hospitality industry is a plus The ideal candidate will have the following competencies and qualities: Fast learner Timely, professional, courteous correspondence and communication with clients, vendors and colleagues Highly ethical and of good character Excellent Interpersonal skills Attention to detail Well organized Customer service oriented Patient, flexible attitude Ability to efficiently manage time and responsibilities Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated but also follows procedures Good communicator / articulate Hard working and reliable / takes pride in own work Comfortable talking to people in various emotional states Diplomatic and discreet Team player RESUMES MUST BE IN ENGLISH TO BE CONSIDERED.
