Citi has embarked on a multi-year transformation effort to simplify and modernize its legacy core banking platform.
As part of the transformation, the DDA module residing within the legacy core banking platform will be migrated into a modern cloud native next generation DDA platform.
The DDA platform will provide account management and transaction processing capabilities for Citi's Institutional Clients Group (ICG) business globally.
Citi has completed the selection of the new DDA platform and is looking to hire a Head of Engineering to lead a high-quality engineering team to run, manage and improve the core DDA platform.
This role will report to the Global Head of Core Accounts Transformation and will be based out of Dublin Responsibilities: Lead the Citi DDA engineering team working alongside the selected DDA solution provider team to enhance, manage and run the DDA platform Engage with other Citi Product Owners, Architects and squad members within the transformation program to understand the APIs and events to be provided by DDA platform Coordinate with DDA solution provider to ensure DDA requirements and on-going enhancements are delivered on-time and with quality Interact and co-ordinate with DDA solution provider peer squads and downstream squads like security, SRE, Data Manage and inspire a high-quality team of engineers Lead the implementation of DDA in line with the market roll out strategy Professional Qualifications And Attributes Notable skill for establishing rapport and credibility with product owners and technical architects Strong engineering team management capability Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a wide range of people, both internally and externally Has had significant experience in managing high-speed feature development on AWSExperience with cloud native core banking solutions (nice to have)Experience with modernization of core banking platforms (nice to have)Technical Qualifications: Java(non-negotiable)Strong knowledge of Distributed transactions, Kafka (non-negotiable)AWS knowledge including S3, EC2, EBS, VPC, SQS, SNSStrong knowledge of Flink, Spark Strong architecture knowledge of modern cloud-based development frameworks including microservices, APIs, CI-CD frameworks, data streaming My SQL, Dynamo DB, No SQLREST APIs(non-negotiable)Java Script, HTML, CSS, Mobile development frameworks (Angular, React)Ability to set up and manage a CI-CD pipeline Job Family Group: Technology Job Family: Applications Development Time Type: Full time Most Relevant Skills Please see the requirements listed above.
