Our client is a provider of engineering, automation, and validation solutions to various industries, including life sciences, food and beverage, and advanced manufacturing. Their services range from process design and project management to construction and start-up support, providing end-to-end solutions for their clients.The lucky person will receive an excellent renumeration package and be based in South Dublin area with hybrid working an option.ResponsibilitiesCarry out the duties of the Project Procurement Lead in a competent, reliable and predictable manner.Comply with, make known to supervised personnel and check their compliance with the following, as applicable.Procurement Procedures and Work PracticesProject Procurement Execution PlanLicensors’, Clients’, and Company AgreementsProject Supplier ListsQuality requirements and obligationsHealth and Safety requirements and obligationsJacobs ethics, policies and proceduresDevelop contacts with Suppliers’ personnel. Maintain the respect of Suppliers and their representatives by adherence to code of conduct and business ethics, corporate policies, procedures and work practices.Maintain awareness of the materials supply situation including area sources, price levels and current deliveries. Advise the Equipment Procurement Manager and/or Manager of Procurement of possible new sources of supply.Contribute to current and projected price and delivery trends.When requested by Equipment Procurement Manager attend monthly cross project Procurement meetings.Be able to demonstrate the highest competence and adaptability in the Presentation of data – noting that the audience will often be senior management who need to be shown the correct information succinctly and clearly to enable decision making.Capable of effectively communicating with all levels of Project and operations management and with the Client. Must identify potential problems and elevate these to the appropriate level(s) of managementRequirementsBusiness type Degree in a recognised Industry field (Procurement Management or Business-related qualificationExperience in a Procurement/Purchasing role is necessaryHave a thorough knowledge of the Equipment Supply Chain and capable of building strong relationships with the Vendors we engage with.Strong Technical background would be an advantage.
