I am recruiting for a Procurement Manager with data centre fit-out construction industry experience to work in Dublin. Fully remote and outside IR35 Salary depends on experience and suitability. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services required for the project. Key Responsibilities: Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with project goals and timelines. Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with terms and conditions. Cost Management: Monitor and control procurement costs to ensure the project remains within budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Quality Assurance: Ensure all procured materials and services meet the required quality standards and specifications. Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the procurement process and develop mitigation strategies. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and delivery schedules. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure procurement activities align with project requirements. Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the construction or data centre industry. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in procurement software and tools. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
