We are on behalf of a specialist construction contractor to recruit a Project Manager to join their team. The contractor’s projects are mainly in the outskirts of Dublin, Co Meath, Co Kildare, and Co Wicklow.

The successful candidate will be responsible for two to three projects at any given time, ensuring proper planning, resourcing, and management. As the main point of contact for the contractor's Project Manager, the Project Manager will report to the company's General Manager.

The person hired for this role will be responsible for managing their own workload and will have some flexibility to work from home when the workload allows it.

Responsibilities:

* Manage two to three projects at any given time, ensuring proper planning, resourcing, and management.

* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines.

* Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders and senior management.

* Manage risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and sub contractors.

* Manage project documentation.

Requirements:

* At least 5 years of experience as a Site Manager, Project Manager, or Site Engineer.

* Experience working with building contractors or developers.

* Good IT skills

* Strong leadership and people management skills.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to manage and prioritise workload.

* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

A salary in the region of €65,000 - €80,000 plus a vehicle and benefits package will be offered to the successful candidate.
