QA Lead - (€65k-€70k) Dublin, Ireland - Hybrid Role Overview: Lead and Guide: Manage and mentor a team of QA engineers, promoting a culture focused on quality and continuous improvement.

Establish QA Processes: Define and implement QA processes, best practices, and methodologies for all projects.

Develop Test Strategies: Create detailed test strategies and plans that align with project requirements and timelines.

Prioritize Testing Efforts: Identify and prioritize testing activities based on risk assessment and business impact.

Automate Testing: Promote the use of automated testing frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.

Oversee Automation: Supervise the design, development, and implementation of automation for web and mobile applications.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with designers, developers, and business stakeholders.

Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand needs and ensure quality delivery.

Desired Skills and Experience: Experience: Over 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.

Proven expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies.

Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Skills: Strong knowledge of testing tools and frameworks like Selenium, Robot, and JUnit.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Java Script for automation.

Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Azure Dev) and test management tools (e.g., Test Rail, Zephyr).

Solid understanding of API testing and tools like Postman or Soap UI.

Some experience with performance testing tools (e.g., Lighthouse, JMeter, Load Runner) is an advantage.

Knowledge of cloud platforms, especially Azure services and architecture.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Experience with Git and Git Hub workflows.

Familiarity with microservices, event-based architectures, RESTful APIs, and containerization.

Self-motivated with a passion for staying updated with industry trends.

Clear communicator and collaborator with stakeholders and project teams.

Collaborative mindset with a passion for mentoring.

Formal Education Qualifications: Degree, diploma, or certification in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.

Agile/Dev Ops-related certifications (e.g., SCRUM Master, Cloud Foundations) are desirable.
