Our client, a leading construction contractor, is now hiring an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work in Co Galway.

The person hired for this role will have the option to work from home for up to three days per week.

Main Duties:

* Managing and forecasting project cash flow.

* Ensure compliance with Contract schedule and provide weekly reports to the construction team on planned versus actual progress

* Liaising and reporting to the Managing Surveyor and the Contracts Manager.

* Develop and maintain relationships with the client to support the activities and maintain positive relations on behalf of the company.

* Ensure the Construction Team is adhering to all Contractual Requirements.

* Commercial and contractual control of sub-contractor accounts.

* Cost monitoring and reporting while attending all monthly cost reporting meetings.

Skills and Experience required:

* Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.

* 3 + years experience working as a QS with a building contractor

* Proven track record in dealing with Subcontractors and Clients
