JMK Group is a long-established and growing group of Hotels across Ireland and the UK.
We are currently seeking a Group Director of Sales & Marketing to develop and implement strategies in support of our commercial goals. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will be based in our Management office in Dublin with travel to all Hotels across Ireland and the UK.
Job Overview
As Group Director of Sales & Marketing for the JMK Group, you’ll develop and implement strategies to ensure commercial goals are achieved, sales and marketing strategies are set, management of social media sites and tactical plans are created and implemented, with results that are monitored, reviewed, and achieved.
Role Overview

Responsible for the preparation of annual sales and marketing budgets and financial plans.
Conduct ongoing competitor product analysis.
Produce monthly reports and sales forecasts.
Create and develop special events to showcase JMK Group.
Schedule conventions and/or business group activities at the hotels.
Communicate to appropriate departments all pertinent information requirements and special needs for arriving VIPs, large groups, and other key guests.
Participate in sales initiatives such as client workshops, roadshows, trade missions, and tradeshows as required.
Lead marketing efforts to upsell guests on hotel services, offerings, and amenities.

Required Skills

A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.
Creative thinker, confident, articulate, with excellent communication skills.
Strong process orientation with a positive approach to change.
Able to coach reports and work associates.
Organized, systematic, and deadlines driven.
Analytical and detail-oriented.
Good Excel skills, computer literate with multiple systems.

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role in the hotel industry is essential.
Website and media management.
3 - 5 years experience in marketing/sales.
Hotel pre-opening experience desirable.
