This includes tackling challenging adversarial problems at scale, detecting policy-violating content, and ensuring Pinterest is legally-compliant. We're looking for an analyst to analyze data and create strong signals and strategies to minimize abuse on the platform. This is a high-visibility role that touches almost every product area at Pinterest. What you'll do: Protect users on Pinterest from bad actors and problematic trends. Coach and evaluate individual data scientists on methodology, code quality, and stakeholder communications. Guide individual data scientists in scoping projects to support team-level objectives and key results.  Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Engineering, Operations) to define shared goals, clarify ownership, and align prioritization.  Support team management initiatives such as process standardization, regular business reviews, and individual career development.  What we're looking for:6+ years of experience working with / analyzing data, 1+ year of managing a team. Technical background. Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R). Basic knowledge of machine learning lifecycle and experience with implementing or improving machine learning models. Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to cross-functional stakeholders. Relevant work experience in Trust & Safety, Responsible AI, Fraud, Spam, Investigations, or Cyber. Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience Relocation Statement: This position is eligible for relocation assistance.
