We are hiring a Senior Medical Scientist- Histology in our Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. Full-time/Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for assisting in the development, maintenance, and implementation of procedures about various aspects of the laboratory and its associated testing equipment. This includes writing, updating, and enforcing these procedures to ensure smooth operations and adherence to quality standards.
- Assist in the application and implementation of operational procedures to achieve the highest standard of "best practices," thereby optimizing resource utilization.
- Contribute to the implementation of a patient-centered quality management program that effectively measures and audits performance and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- The post holder must have: include reference to CORU registration
- Recognised Department of Health Qualification for a Senior Medical Scientist.
- Hold a qualification recognised by Department of Health Qualification for a Senior Medical Scientist: as laid down in the HSE Eligibility Criteria dated 07/08/2018, Grade Code 3877.
- Possess fellowship of the Academy of Medical Sciences or eligibility for fellowship.
- Possess four years’ experience in a Medical Laboratory since qualifying as a Medical Scientist
