Senior Mechanical / HVAC Engineer
Our client, a prominent EPCM company is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical/HVAC Engineers for an, initially 12 Month contract, with the following.
Responsibilities
– Lead plant design activities as an area/system leader and coordinate with multi-discipline designers.
– Perform Mech/HVAC plant design work across several engineering disciplines in 2 D/3 D integrated design systems.
– Perform quality review checks for 2 D/3 D modelling and Mech/HVAC deliverables.
– Assist in the generation of proposals, scopes, schedules and budgets for projects.
– Participate in design reviews, risk assessments and vendor bid evaluations.
– Show strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
Requirements
– Primary degree in Building Services, Energy, or Mechanical Engineering (Level 8), and either working towards or already having gained chartered status.
– Pharmaceutical experience preferable, large scale industrial, skill sets: wet and dry, calculations, specifications, detailing and sizing.
– Experience with start-up and commissioning will be an advantage.
– Experience in equipment layout definition
– Proficient in spreadsheets, problem solving and solution creation.
– Experience using Navisworks is desirable.
The ideal candidate should have proven experience in:
– HVAC systems and utilities systems design within Pharmaceutical and/or Semiconductor industries, particularly in a lead capacity encompassing various systems such as cleanrooms.
– AHU’s, chilled water, glycol systems, steam systems, hot water systems, cooling water systems, and compressed air systems.
