Acrow Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Site Engineers and Senior Site Engineers on behalf of a Tier 1 building contractor for new construction projects in the Dublin area. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in setting out and surveying construction projects, using the latest equipment and working with an established project team.
Responsibilities:
* Working in a team that will include a Project Engineer, Senior Engineer and Site Engineers.
* Ensure accurate setting out of construction works, including foundations, structures, and building services
* Liaise with the Senior Engineers to ensure the correct interpretation of design drawings
* Provide technical support to site management and sub-contractors
* Monitor and report on progress, highlighting any issues that may arise
* Ensure all works comply with health and safety regulations
* Manage and maintain surveying equipment
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
* Proven experience as a Site / Setting Out Engineer on construction projects
* Knowledge of setting out and surveying techniques and procedures
* Familiarity with AutoCAD and other engineering software
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
