Works actively to close out NCR’s in a timely mannerIs competent in the issuing of “Permits to break ground”Can review and create method statements and risk assessmentsIdentifies where information is missing and has an excellent working knowledge of the project RFI processUndertakes the role of the Temporary Works Co-ordinator (When appointed) and ensures the Temporary Works procedures are implemented for both direct and sub contracted worksUndertakes the role of Project Lifting Operations Appointed Person (When appointed)Constantly provides information to the project planner to allow programmes to be updated or updates them personallyProvides assistance and more often than not leads site and graduate engineers, demonstrating best practice at all timesIs fully aware of the locations of existing and proposed servicesConsistently stops site works, where they believe person(s) are at risk from a health and safety perspectiveWorks collaboratively with other sub-contractors engineers, utilising their experience at all timesTakes responsibility for ground validation reports to fulfil planning obligationsUnderstand outputs for various tradesCan work and lead where necessary engineering teams of various sizes and abilitiesSupervises and mentors less experienced engineers working on their siteExperience & SkillsIs fully competent in understanding the dangers of underground services and the risk control procedures requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsGood working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeSignificant experience in the design management processA broad range of technical exposure, within the following trades – Piling, Geotechnical, Substructures (including Waterproofing), Superstructures Facades and intricate internal works, Basic mechanical and electrical systemsTrained as the Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) roleCan assess temporary works systems for their suitability. Understands any limitations where necessaryExperience in the management of lifting operations; with support, can undertake the role of Lifting Operations Appointed PersonExperienced in Quality Management proceduresGood working knowledge of AUTOCADUnderstands current H&S legislationWorking Knowledge of BIM , with the ability to input 3D scanning, or point cloud survey informationCan demonstrate where they have instigated change to improve project performanceAbility to advise and assess construction outputsAble to complete health and safety inspections, providing assistance, supportQualifications/Training Required Qualifications/TrainingDegree / Diploma in a Construction related subjectCurrent Full Driving Licence
