To fuel ambitious growth plans, we are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team. This is a permanent role based out of Ireland or Hungary with full remote working flexibility as required. The successful candidate will report directly to the CTO and will be provided with a significant opportunity to shape the future of product development at Opta Haul. As a Full Stack Developer at Opta Haul, you will work on a modern, cloud-native B2 B Saa S platform which helps dairy processors, cooperatives, and hauliers optimize their milk collection logistics. As an experienced member of an agile team, you’ll take part in the development of responsive web applications and work with world-class cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure. You will find yourself working as part of a distributed virtual team, liaising with UX designers and commercial executives for the ultimate goal of designing and building loveable, commercial cloud products and services that are derived from an understanding of the business, its actors, and the technology building blocks. You’ll continuously learn new technologies and keep up with the innovations in the technology space, providing technical coaching and guidance to junior developers during project work. Key Responsibilities Developing, maintaining, and operating existing and new (micro)services Creating front-end applications with React/UI5 Delivering complex projects in Microsoft Azure Being a proactive force-multiplier Requirements University degree in Bachelor of Engineering or a Master’s degree in Computer Science with 5-8 years of experience in software development. Fluent English language communication skills. Ability to work independently and with others. Good overview of the technology landscape. Knowledgeable in using development tools, testing frameworks, and techniques. Ability to deliver cloud-native web applications from setting up developer infrastructure to polishing features. Experience with: Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes or similar platforms and tools Postgre SQL or similar databases React, UI5 or other frontend frameworks Spring or similar backend frameworks (JS/TS preferred)Experience working with high-load and high-traffic production systems is a plus. Strong desire to improve upon skills in software development, frameworks, and technologies.
