We are looking for an innovative solution architect to develop and implement systems architecture that will meet business needs.

The solution architect’s responsibilities include gathering requirements and functional specifications, assessing the current software systems in place to identify areas in need of improvement, optimisation, and automation.

Solution architecture belongs to the list of most important practices executed before any tech solution development begins.

You should be able to find the best tech solution to solve existing business problems.

Describe the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of the software to project stakeholders.

Define features, development phases, and solution requirements and provide specifications according to which the solution is defined, managed, and delivered.

What you will do as a Senior Solution Architect As a Solution Architect in our Dublin team, you will play a central role in developing innovative business solutions in partnership with C-Suite leaders to transform businesses Work as part of a team of 3-5 consultants to deliver innovate solutions and solve complex business problems.

Essential to be able to explain complex problems to management in layman’s terms.

Deliver high quality work on multiple projects, managing all stages of the consulting cycle: assessment, design and implementation.

Build effective relationships, manage people, and accomplish challenging goals Inspire others, building commitment across the team, working closely with others but also autonomously with little direction Responsibilities Manages activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation.

Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented.

Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it.

Reviews business context for solutions to company challenges as well as defining the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options, (or prototype development), selecting the most optimal option, and the development of a roadmap for the selected solution.

Can build or design applications in support of automating or optimising repetitive manual business activities Designing and shaping the future state architecture to meet company’s growth and ambition.

Assures solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose but also closely align with the standards guidelines of technology solutions.

Communicates the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborates and coordinates with existing domain architects in the formalization and adoption of IT standards and procedures.

Assessing the business impact that certain technical choices have.

Supporting client engagements in building and integrating information systems to meet the company’s needs.

Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed.

Directs the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.

Develops and executes solutions which further reduce the percentage of time spent on reactive work.

Provides analysis of security protection technologies as necessary.

As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for helping to scope projects on technology vision, future technology options and development of technology architecture roadmaps for clients.

As a senior team member, you will be expected to take a leadership role, overseeing small teams to produce client deliverables, and coaching other team members Engage in practice management, development of methodologies, people development and proposals to secure new work.

Demonstrating thought leadership through articles, webinars, blogging and other social media Bachelor’s degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related field.

Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design.

Previous project management experience is advantageous.

Sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases.

Strong organizational and leadership skills.
