Flexsource are seeking a Store/Forecourt Manager for our client in Glengarriff.This position entails overseeing the efficient and profitable operation of a retail convenience store and forecourt in Glengarriff, West Cork.Requirements : •Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the convenience store and forecourt sector.•Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.•Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.•Exceptional customer service and communication skills.•Knowledge of inventory management and stock control.•Financial acumen and ability to analyse sales and financial reports.•Familiarity with health and safety regulations, particularly regarding fuel handling.•Proficiency in using retail management software and point-of-sale systems specifically CBEResponsibilities include :Operational Management: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the retail convenience stores and forecourts. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures at both locations. Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and product presentation. Conduct regular store audits to assess compliance and address any issues or discrepancies. Manage inventory levels for both sites and implement effective stock control measures. Monitor sales performance, identify trends, and implement strategies to drive sales growth.Customer Service: Ensure a consistently high level of customer service across both locations. Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally. Train staff to deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues effectively.Forecourt Operations: Oversee the operations of the forecourt, including fuel sales and pump maintenance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations for fuel storage and handling.
