Our client, based in Dublin 22, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Technical Officer to join their Quality Team.

In this role, you will work closely with the Quality Manager and the broader Quality Team to help achieve their quality, food safety, compliance, and sustainability goals.

Support and manage the HACCP program and team, ensuring that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), preventive controls, and prerequisite programs are in place and effective.

Compliance and Standards Management: Develop and manage the internal audit program to align with BRCGS, Bord Bia, and DAFM standards.

Maintain and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to processes, product specifications, and regulatory compliance.

Quality System Oversight: Manage the sites food safety and quality systems, including HACCP and Food Safety Plan reviews, prerequisite programs, pest control, sanitation, and other requirements.

Track and analyze agreed KPIs to support quality improvement initiatives.

Customer Satisfaction: Address and resolve customer complaints by conducting root cause analyses and verifying corrective actions.

Provide proactive and responsive support on technical issues.

Team Leadership and Development: Develop and maintain a well-trained and qualified Quality Team through training, development, communication, and accountability.

Manage staff training programs focused on food safety and SOPs.

Audit and Sustainability Support: Lead third-party audits and ensure compliance with sustainability goals, including Origin Green requirements.

What You Need to Succeed Bachelors degree in Food Science or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years experience in food manufacturing, with expertise in BRCGS compliance.

Knowledge and experience with BRCGS and Bord Bia standards.

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Experience managing third-party audits.
