Job Description Our client is an award winning international engineering and project-management consultancy, currently undergoing rapid growth.The successful candidate will be responsible for growing a new Civil/Structural team in Ireland focused on the Transportation sector and assist with developing the right team structure for our clients and projects.Growing and developing a team of civil/structural engineersActing as Civil/Structural lead on projectsYou will interface with other engineering disciplines on complex multi-d projectsEnsuring design is defined and delivered in accordance with appropriate guidance, standards and client requirements.Inputting to technical/quality proposals for new commissions.Implementing a robust quality management systemRequirementsEducated to degree level (level 8/9 engineering degree).Minimum 12 years’ of postgraduate experience, primarily in a consultancy environmentChartered with Engineers Ireland or equivalent professional institution.An ability to ensure safe-by-design is at the core of the design and delivery process.Cross-sector civil/structural engineering experienceExperience of delivering projects to BIM Level 2 equivalentAn awareness of developing technologies and best practice in the industryEffective communicator (written, verbal & presentations).Full driving licence.Package Competitive salary offered depending on experienceExcellent benefits package with pension, bonus & 25 days holidays.
