Job DetailsA full-time, permanent vacancy has arisen for the role of Market Research Analyst (Dublin Or Kilkenny). The successful candidate will build processes to enable adoption of a market centric approach for development and delivery of our growth plans for the Corporate (B2B) market. Strengthen the market research framework that blends existing internal sources with new sources to create a comprehensive view of corporate market trends. The role will support market strategy and planning by providing actionable recommendations based on assessments of markets and competitors, and translating data into executable market and intelligence outputs.Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Build robust understanding of customer trends, market sector trends and best practice exemplars, with a view to informing sales approach and proposition developmentStrengthen market intelligence framework and system through development of a comprehensive range of market information and systematic gathering and utilisation of intelligenceBuild effective knowledge management process and tools for market intelligence to ensure market intel is fully leveraged within the businessUnderstand customer behaviour across segments by building and managing processes to capture and leverage Customer and Prospect IntelligenceDraw together all sources from research, insights, MI and various other intelligence sources to generate strategic and tactical insights to inform proposition developmentBuild processes to ensure market insights and intelligence are optimised through our development plans - ensure key insights from research are understood and actionedPlanning, conducting and implementing market research, and working with internal partners to deliver.Monitor internal trends and build international feeds into intelligence - understanding global trends and innovations that will impact clients or distribution partners.The successful candidate must have:Relevant third level business related degreeUnderstanding of knowledge management systems and how to use technology to support market intelligenceExcellent analytical skills with proven problem solving skillsTeam player with collaborative styleProven customer focus with strong initiative and self-motivationExcellent organisational skillsStrong communication and presentation skillsDemonstrate Alignment with Vhi Values.Knowledge & Experience:Experience in a market intelligence / market analysis role would be a distinct advantageExperience managing third party market intelligence, or insights providers is an advantageKnowledge and understanding of Salesforce (or similar B2B CRM system) would be helpfulExperience in dealing with and producing market intelligence for senior management consumption would be helpful.VHI is an equal opportunities employer.
