Talent Development Partner - Permanent - Hybrid - Wesport The Talent Development Partner will be reporting to the HR Director. You will play a crucial role in driving their talent and learning development strategy. You will be at the forefront of bridging technical skills gaps through targeted training and development programs whilst fostering a culture of continuous learning by identifying and addressing employee and leadership development needs. Responsibilities: Design, support and deliver development programs to match organizational opportunities and challenges. Acceleration of leadership skills development on site of current and new leaders. Work with management/leadership group to develop solutions that enhance individual, team, and organizational performance, leveraging IT systems, web-based applications, and computer-based training. Responsible for the management of site training/learning budget, measurement and improvement of learning (i.e. knowledge transfer and skill mastery on site) and return on investment in training. Assist management in business strategy/culture alignment and change management initiatives on site. Design and implement development and training strategies for ongoing sustainability of initiatives leveraging e-learning and blending different learning approaches. Apply formal and informal needs assessments processes, including surveys, focus groups, department meetings, etc. to identify key needs and root causes. Assist department managers with analysis and interpretation of results and the development of strategies to address issues and opportunities. Support and measure the effectiveness of knowledge transfer and retention within the organization. Keep informed of best practices within the industry regarding training and work to implement best practices and technologies (e.g. Augmented reality) on site. Liaise with other site facilities to ensure consistent training approaches on similar activities across different sites. Assist HR Team with staffing decisions by assessing needs and objectives, helping managers identify appropriate knowledge/skills/abilities and involvement in the recruitment & selection process. Manage the train-the-trainer program to ensure all trainers are appropriately qualified to deliver training and design and deliver annual Train the Trainer refresher training to core groups. Conduct vendor assessment — source, review externally developed programs and facilitators' capability to meet learning needs, negotiate prices within budget constraints with vendors and manage relationships. Responsible for maximizing the value that we get from the training budget, leveraging all external funding. Introduce annual cost-saving initiatives to the training function. Work with SMEs on instructor-led training programs to identify, support and implement continuous improvement initiatives, competency-based assessments, and e-learning solutions. Establish and maintain good systems of communication across the organization. Qualifications: Degree qualified in HR/Learning or relevant discipline (ideally master’s level and with CIPD membership preferred).6 years + in similar Talent Development/HR Business Partner role. Proven ability to develop & lead Talent/Learning Programs. Experience working in a matrix environment. Business and Organizational Experience.
