The Business Analyst Team Lead will oversee our team of business analysts supporting delivery of the product engineering roadmap, achieving business success measures. The BA team drives discovery and development of innovative solutions in an ever-changing digital landscape. As a detailed planner, expert communicator, and top-notch analyst you will remove or escalate impediments where your BA’s need support; using your experience to continue to find new ways to improve and enhance our agile team practices and processes; always focused on the continuous delivery of value. Working with your team of BA’s and other platform leaders you will bring fresh ideas and best practices to our ways of working. You’ll work with team members who support the roadmap delivery in multiple sites in Dublin, India and Eastern Europe. In short, this critical role will lead a value-focused delivery organisation, proven by KPI’s such as Business Satisfaction, Value Delivery and Team Health. Teams reporting to this role - GP eCom Business Analysts Essestial Responsibilties Work as part of an Agile team to deliver high quality business solutions for the key stakeholders Engage with end users and subject matter experts to identify, develop, document, validate and endorse the requirements of their unit, demonstrating Agile behaviours that emphasises collaboration, delivery, reflection and improvement and deliver internal training for new features to team members and end users by identifying needs, preparing materials and delivery as needed Consult with the business and product managers/owners to prioritise and shape the product backlog, using Agile practices for prioritisation around business value Work with product managers and epic owners to develop business cases, as required Be responsible for providing multi-disciplinary teams with user stories and coaching to define the business driven acceptance criteria and test cases. Proactively support the uplift of Agile practices and foster a culture of continual service improvement Consult with and advise product managers when defining product release content and timeline, applying product development principles, innovative thinking and a focus around the customer or user experience Assist with the elaboration of the user stories and requirements, supporting team members with their work where required Investigate and support decisions on technical functionality and data points for features that impact multiple systems Participate in and facilitate relevant Agile ceremonies and rituals: Backlog Refinement, Daily Stand-up, Iteration / Release Planning, Showcases / Sprint Review, Retrospective Participate in the creation of low or high fidelity prototypes Provide subject matter expertise in specific functional area(s) for assigned Scrum team(s) Technical Skills Extensive Business Analyst experience in a modern software development / product delivery environment. End-to-end experience of the delivery cycle from discovery through to deployment Communications: Strong communication and presentation skills, clear communicator in a timely and effective manner Experience and interest in digital technology / product development / software development Knowledge of the key directional trends and emerging technologies in the IT industry People Management. Leadership and motivational skills to hire and manage a talented team of 6-8 people. Stakeholder Management. Ability to build strong relationships and partnerships between stakeholders across all levels of the organisation Qualifications The Business Analyst Team Lead is a management position and requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Analysis, management and leadership - particularly in an agile software development environment Have a relevant degree such as a bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Business, MBA, Management, Technical, Technology, Information Systems, Business/Administration Excellent oral and written communication skills
