Position Summary
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the position of Data Scientist II in the Centre for Applied Artificial Intelligence (Ce ADAR). Ce ADAR is part‑funded by Enterprise Ireland and the IDA and is the national centre for applied data analytics and machine intelligence. Its market‑focused agenda is developed in conjunction with its strong membership base of over 90 MNCs and SMEs. See www.ceadar.ie for further details.
Ce ADAR is based in UCD and is a collaboration between UCD and TUD. Ce ADAR conducts research in AI and data analytics and related areas and develops proof‑of‑concept applications in cooperation with our industry partners. The Centre is also active in its participation in Horizon Europe consortia. The research at Ce ADAR covers a broad spectrum including explainable AI, computer vision, cybersecurity, machine learning, prediction, text mining, natural language processing, data visualisation and data management across a diverse range of verticals from satellite, drones (UAVs), green energy, Fin Tech and everything in between. Additionally Ce ADAR is actively involved in several venture‑funded start‑ups and offers many opportunities to get involved in these projects.
Ce ADAR is seeking an experienced individual who has a demonstrated successful track record in applied data science delivering solid analytics solutions for industry where research on cutting‑edge techniques is required. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work on a range of advanced AI projects in collaboration with industry partners and other applied researchers at the cutting edge of the ’recently possible’.
