Senior Big Data Developer Scala Cloudera Dublin Contract.

My client a leading global firm is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Senior Big Data Developer to join them on a contract basis for 12 months with a further 12 months and even permanency.

My client is looking for the ideal candidate to be passionate about both understanding the customer & the business, and also working with technology teams to deliver working solutions.

Your primary Responsibilities, have experience working in software application development as a programmer.

have strong and solid knowledge of software engineering principles and practices.

Strong and solid knowledge of software engineering principles and experience in developing data processing applications using Scala, Python 3.10+.

Expertise with Big Data Hadoop platforms like Databricks, Cloudera, Teradata, etc.

and solid fundamental understanding of the Hadoop and commitment in developing high quality, robust, scalable, and maintainable software.

Knowledge of testing frameworks, CI/CD, test automation, and software monitoring and alerting.

This is a great opportunity to work on a monolithic application and rewrite the whole application.

There is a lot of longevity in this role as it will extend over 2 years and then can even go permanent also.
