Unijobs on behalf of our client, Children's Health Ireland (CHI), are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior ICT Project Manager in Dublin.

This post will be primarily based across CHI's new children's hospital project sites; the IFSC, Herberton and/or Kilmainham, but will need to be able to work from any CHI site as needed.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week onsite initially.

There will be a mix of attendance, and it depends on business requirements that week.

The duration of this post is 18 months initially with a 35-hour standard working week.

The successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid a daily rate of €595.82.

The purpose of the role The CHI Digital Health / ICT Programme has an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, experienced Senior ICT Project Manager to manage the upgrade, migration/transition and implementation of various projects for the new children's hospital which may include (but is not limited to); The catering system Speech recognition Vendor Neutral Archive National Systems Coordination e.g.

PACs and RIS Data migration / data consolidation Systems migrations Technology migrations Other EHR ecosystem projects Experience in one or many of the above areas is not mandatory but will be highly regarded.

Project management experience across applications and/or technical domains will also be highly regarded.

Professional Duties and Responsibilities: Procure, contract, design, build, test & deploy systems / projects as required.

Provide functional and/or technical leadership for the implementation and support of clinical system enhancements and modifications.

Supervise and conduct analysis, such as requirements analysis, system feasibility studies, systems selection and process improvement projects.

Develop detailed implementation plans including finalisation of project team structure, task list, task inter-dependencies, timetable and budget Development, implementation and maintenance of the project schedule to deliver the programme within agreed timeframes, resources and budget.

Manage projects within schedule constraints according to specifications and ensure business objectives are met.

Key liaison between vendor and CHI staff, facilitating programme activities and working closely with wider ICT Programme team to deliver the relevant technology for the nch; Act as a point of contact or escalation for stakeholders and facilitating contact with the correct resources.

Communication of programme status and progress against agreed deliverables and milestones.

Strong stakeholder management with internal and external stakeholders, utilising expectation setting and influencing skills; Define, identify, secure, and coordinate internal and external resources and expertise, as appropriate, for the project implementations; Lead and direct work assignments of internal and external resources to ensure delivery to plan; Risk identification, monitoring, and developing strategies for mitigation; Management of agreed scope and change controls within the programme governance structure ensuring appropriate notification, reporting, escalation and approvals are actioned; Log issues as they arise and liaise with colleagues and the supplier to achieve resolution, updating the systems accordingly; Manage and transition relevant existing applications into the new children's hospital Prior to, during and following go-live, provide support to ensure a smooth transition for users including 'on-floor' and telephone support.

Essential Criteria: A third level degree/post-graduate qualification in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Informatics or a healthcare disciple plus a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in a relevant and similar role OR 5+ years' experience in a relevant and similar role Desirable Criteria: Proven track record of implementing or managing large scale or complex projects particularly in a large hospital setting A project management qualification Familiarity with clinical workflows in addition to an understanding of a wide array of integration points such as laboratory, medical imaging, cardiology, dietetics etc.
