The Dublin-based team will play a critical role in our continued digital transformation and will function as a center of excellence for Sirius XM’s global Product and Technology organization. Sirius XM’s new Dublin facility will comprise a workforce primarily focused on software development, automotive technology and engineering, Ad Tech, data science, and analytics. Talent based in the new technology hub will be charged with developing and implementing best-in-class standards for high-quality, scalable software deliveries for Sirius XM’s streaming and in-vehicle audio entertainment platforms. How you’ll make an impact: As a key member of the Client Enablement team, the successful candidate will develop, code and deploy API’s using Graph QL for the next generation of Sirius XM/Pandora streaming applications. Graph QL plays a critical role as the primary API interface for streaming clients across multiple platforms (including i OS, Android, Web, CE, and Automotive devices). Candidates will have strong academic credentials and a degree in Computer Science related field, or equivalent experience and training. Candidates should be enthusiastic about learning new technologies and skills. Candidates must be capable of managing their time well and working collaboratively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. What you’ll do: Build the APIs that power the next generation Sirius XM/Pandora streaming clients Write unit and integration tests and advise Quality Engineering on acceptance tests Create/modify schemas as needed to achieve feature and user interface requirements Demonstrate working software during in-person and/or virtual meetings with stakeholders Actively participate in and positively contribute to SCRUM meetings (daily standup, backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint retrospective)Contribute to investigations and discussions with other developers, product management, designers, data scientists, and talent curator/creator personnel as a representative of the Client Enablement team Share your knowledge with other team members, including mentoring and training others Write external-facing documentation for consumers of the API and internal documentation for fellow team members Perform service deployment activities, perform maintenance, and respond to production issues as needed. What you’ll need: BS Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent, relevant education and experience1+ years of software development experience Must have legal right to work in the EUExposure to developing and testing applications written in Java Script / Type Script Exposure to build and deployment technologies such as Jenkins and Docker Experience with SCRUM Agile software development processes#LI-ML5
