Test Analyst (Intermediate) - €420 per Day About the role Irish Government regulatory organisation with responsibility for financial services requires an experienced Intermediate level QA tester to join their team in advance of an upgrading project that is due to commence shortly.

This is a hybrid role with the QA tester required onsite 2-3 days per week at the organisations easily accessible city centre headquarters.

While initially offered on a 12 month contract basis, the nature of this project is such that there is a very strong probability of extension well beyond this date.

Responsibilities of Role * Deliver QA services within the agreed time and coverage boundaries to required standard to ensure that business priorities are met.

* Ensure that Quality Assurance policies and processes are followed, reviewed and enhanced.

* Supporting stakeholders through the optimum use of quality assurance principles * Translating complex testing requirements into effective test solutions.

* Collaborating with the development team to support an automation first approach to testing.

* Ensuring that organisational quality assurance policies/procedures are followed and that fit for purpose solutions are delivered to production.

* Working with the Product owners to agree priorities, size undertakings from a QA perspective and develop initiative plans.

* Quality Assurance process review and improvement.

* Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement within the delivery approach and communicate these * Documenting all QA procedures, including any exceptions to standard roles/responsibilities * Support and guide business users in maturing and improving the consistency and effectiveness of the UAT process.

Essential Candidate requirements * Third level degree and/or Postgraduate qualification in IT, Computer Science or other area relevant to this role * Certification - ISTQB Agile Tester or other applicable certification related to testing * 4-6 years relatively recent experience of working as a tester in an enterprise environment * Experience in fulfilling all of the 'Responsibilities of role' listed above particularly Quality Assurance process review and improvement.

* Direct experience in providing support to Business and Data Analytics professionals * Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure that there is a full understanding of the items under consideration Please Note - All applicants must have immediate availability to work in the EU/EEA or be a UK Citizen as our client cannot provide any kind of Visa or Work Permit sponsorship at present.
