Your new company Our client is a globally active, independent family-owned company headquartered in Germany, which develops and produces technologically sophisticated electronic and mechatronic products. At 53 locations in 20 countries, more than 20,000 employees work flexibly, competently, and close to customers. Our clients automotive electrics division develops and produces power electronics for electro mobility, control units for comfort electronics, as well as user interfaces from turn signal switches to touch displays.They are now looking for test technicians to join their team on a permanent basis.Your new role Reporting to the test lead, you will join a team of other technicians to maintain, troubleshoot and improve both ICT and functional test equipment and processes.Your duties will include testing hardware maintenance and optimisation, failure rate elimination, manufacturing process improvements initiatives based on test failure data and full production support to meet productivity and efficiency.You will also have responsibility for environmental issues within your area and ensure you are working towards company environmental targets and responsibility of your own Health & Safety and that of others that you may be in contact with.This is a shift role.The shift pattern is 3*12hr shift per week (rotating between days and nights every 2-week period) and an additional 12hr shift to be worked every 4 weeks. They will be paid 39hrs weekly. With a 25% shift premium applied weekly.
